What to Expect When Patient is in Liver ICU?

इस श्रृंखला के पहले वीडियो में हमने देखा की, जब मरीज लिवर ICU में हो तो क्या उम्मीद कर सकते हो और उनसे क्या जानकारी प्राप्त करनी चाहिए।
दोनों प्रकार के लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट प्रोसेस में पहले डोनर की सर्जरी शुरू होती है। डोनर के लिवर की जाँच होती है। और लिवर अगर अच्छा है तभी रेसिपिएंट (Recipient) की सर्जरी की प्रोसेस शुरू की जाती है। दोनों टाइप के लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट प्रोसेस में कम्पलीट (Complete) लिवर को निकाला जाता है। और लिविंग डोनर लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट है तो आधा लिवर और डिसीज्ड डोनर लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट है तो पूरा लिवर रेसिपिएंट की बॉडी में फिक्स किया जाता है। इस पुरे प्रोसेस के लिए एवरेज टाइम 6 – 10 घंटे लगते है। ट्रांसप्लांट ख़तम होने के बाद पेशंट को ICU में स्थानांतरित कर दिया जाता है और ICU में रोगी की रिकवरी की जाती है।

In this video, we will learn what you can expect when the patient is in liver ICU? There are two types of liver transplant, Living Donor and Deceased Donor. In the Living Donor Liver Transplant process, the patient is admitted a day before. All your reports are re-examined and some tests are done. After examining the reports, your video and written consent are taken, in which you are informed about the transplant process, its complications.
In a deceased donor liver transplant, when a cadaver or organ is available, you are called for a transplant. This transplant occurs on the emergency basis. You can be called anytime as soon as you get an organ. The average time for this entire liver transplant surgery process is 8 – 10 hours. After the transplant is over, the patient is shifted to the ICU and patient recovery is done in ICU.
