      Yoga: A Daily Dose of Health for The Liver

      The liver is the body’s largest organ and serves as the body’s gatekeeper. The liver is responsible for many of the body’s activities. Many activities of our bodies will halt if our liver weakens, which might lead to severe disorders. The liver is a vital organ in the human body. It serves a variety of purposes in our bodies. The liver performs the majority of the processes necessary for our bodies to be healthy. The liver’s most important role in our bodies is to transport essential nutrients to different body parts. As a result, there is an issue in the liver. There can be a variety of disorders that can affect the liver, including fatty liver, liver infection, and hepatitis.

      Yoga can help you maintain a healthy liver. Toxin elimination is the responsibility of the liver. By digesting anything we ingest, the liver does the work of producing digestive juice. The liver becomes weak as a result of poor eating habits, and it is unable to operate effectively, causing us to become ill. Many people wonder what they may do to strengthen their liver. Or what are the liver-strengthening remedies? Yoga asanas can always keep the liver healthy in such a condition. You can maintain your liver healthy if you practice these yogasanas daily.

      Do This Yogasanas To Keep Your Liver In Good Shape

      1. Bhujangasana:

      Bhujangasanais a yogasana that is excellent for maintaining the health of the liver. This yogasanas can be done daily for a healthy liver. It can also be performed to treat minor liver issues.

      How to do Bhujangasana:

      • First and foremost, lie flat on your stomach.
      • Your legs should be stretched and there should be some space between them in this position.
      • Bring your hands up to your chest and place your palms down.
      • After that, elevate the part to the navel while taking a deep breath and attempting to stare up at the sky.
      • Try to hold this position for a few minutes while breathing normally.
      • Slowly return to the beginning posture while exhaling.
      • You can repeat this asana three to four times at first.

       

      1. Naukasana:

      Naukasana is a yoga pose that strengthens the liver and also helps keep it in good shape. In Naukasana the body is shaped like a boat. This asana has the potential to help with a variety of issues.

      How to do Naukasana:

      • Lie down in the Shavasana position for this asana’s practice. Slowly unite the heels and foot, bringing both hands up to your waist.
      • Maintain a straight palm and neck on the ground. Raise your legs, neck, and hands at the same time.
      • Put your entire body weight on your hips during this pose. Slowly return to shavasana after about 30 seconds in this position.

       

      1. Kapalbhati

      Kapalbhati can help you maintain your liver health. People who practise Kapalbhatiare able to avoid stomach and liver disorders to a great extent. This asana has a variety of health benefits.

      How to do Kapalbharti:

      • Sit in Vajrasana, Siddhasana, or Padmasana to begin.
      • After that, take a deep breath and hold it for five to ten seconds.
      • Breathe out slowly through your nose.

      This pranayama should be done for ten to fifteen minutes every day to alleviate liver problems

      1. Ustrasana

      Ustrasana is thought to help with a variety of health issues. This asana is thought to help the liver, as well as other body parts function more efficiently. Practice this yoga on a daily basis to keep your liver healthy.

      How to do Ustrasana:

      • Place a yoga mat and sit in the pose of Vajrasana.
      • After that, get down on your knees.
      • Bend backwards and grip the heel of the left foot with the left hand and the heel of the right foot with the right hand while taking a deep breath.
      • During this time, your gaze should be directed above.
      • The full weight of your body should be supported by your hands and feet in this position.
      • Hold this position for a few moments, breathing normally.
      • Slowly return to the starting position.

      This asana can be repeated four to five times.
